It reminds me of that old definition of “love” that I heard long ago. Love is “the will to extend one’s self for the purpose of nurturing...another’s spiritual growth.” Love is that act of contributing time, energy, something useful toward the deepening and enriching of another person’s experience of life, assisting another to bloom and grow forever and to become more of the potential that is theirs to actualize and express.
